If you already have a good grounding in ski touring but would like to expand your knowledge and clarify any unanswered questions, this is the right course for you. Map reading, navigation, laying tracks on the ascent, correct descents techniques, etc. are the main topics covered during this three-day course, as well as avalanche awareness. When assessing the avalanche situation on tour, we will not only explain the common strategies and methods used but apply them together. The programme includes some challenging ski tours. The Dolomites, with its steep and complex terrain, offers the best conditions for this.

Schedule:
Day 1: Arrival and meet at 08:00 at GLOBO ALPIN office at Dobbiaco. Gear check. Short ski tour with beacon and avalanche rescue techniques refresher.
